Marjorie Bollinger Cleghorn

Marjorie Bollinger Cleghorn, age 85 of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023.  She was born on July 31, 1937 to the late Jessie and Bessie Harris, in Akron, OH.  As a younger girl she and her sister traveled the USA playing their accordions.  She was gifted at playing the piano and the organ.  She was an Account Clerk for the State of Ohio in the Health Department for 30 years. She greatly enjoyed crocheting and church activities.  Her love for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Michael L. Bollinger, Barbara L (Mike) Mapes, Judy L. (Alan) Rawlins, and Rick L. (Melinda) Bollinger; grandchildren, Dana, Michael, Natalee, Matthew, Crystal, Elisha, and Aria; great grandchildren, Toby, Makayla, Kelsey, Connor, Madison, and Isabella; sister, Jackie McKee; and several nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Frank Bollinger, and daughter, Cherylea Bollinger.

Family and Friends may visit from 12 until 1PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130.  A funeral service will take place Friday June 30th, 2023 at 1PM following the visitaion, officiated by Chaplain Kermit Welty.  Burial will follow the service at Community Gardens Cemetery in Somerset, OH.
