Marji Spires

Marji Spires, 63, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Friday, November 18, 2016. She was born on October 13, 1953, in Lancaster, Ohio.

Marji was a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Marji is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ron Spires; children, Scott (Leanna) Shaeffer and Lauree (Kyle) Althaus; special friend, Tonya (O.J. Morrison) Wiseman; grandchildren, Maxwell McKenzie, Athena McKenzie, Ceci McKenzie, Rayce Shaeffer, Peyton Morrison, Jordan Mossholder, Laken Althaus, and River Althaus; siblings, Mindy (Bill) Farrow, Mark (Melinda) Kitsmiller, and Mike (Cindy) Kitsmiller; and several nieces and nephews.

Marji was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Dunkle; father, Jack Kitsmiller; and grandson, Dylan Shaeffer.

Caring Cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME and following Marji’s wishes no services will be held. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Donations may be made in memory of Marji to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
