Marilyn Silcott

Marilyn D. Silcott age 78, of Lancaster, died August 13th, 2018 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 18th, 1939 to the late John and Martha Banfield Newman in Taylorville, IL. She worked for Essex Wire and raised her family. Marilyn will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, together for 54 years, Ronald E. Silcott; children, Gary Frye and Robert Frye; grandchildren, Andrew and Justin Frye; great grandchildren, Addelyn, Elijah, and Elliot Frye; step-children, Mary Miller, Shelia (Nick) Bray, and Ronald Silcott Jr.; step-grandchildren, Amber, Greg, Kellie, Teresa, Brittany, and Stephen; siblings, Ron (Vera) Newman, Tom (Jenny) Newman, Janice (Bob) Reid, and Loretta (Fred) Swyers
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty Brown and infant sister Juanita Newman.
