Marilyn S. Ritchie, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023, at Fairfield Medical Center. Born on December 26, 1949, in Chillicothe, OH, Marilyn lived a remarkable life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering commitment.

Marilyn's journey began with her education at Westerville High School, where she graduated in 1968. Following her studies, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a mortgage broker before joining her husband's business, "Ritchie Piano Service." In this role, Marilyn showed incredible talent as an exceptional bookkeeper and played an instrumental role in running the family business.

Not only was Marilyn esteemed for her professional accomplishments but also for her numerous passions outside of work. She had a deep affection for horses and spent memorable moments showing them as a young girl—her eyes shining bright while accepting trophies for her remarkable performances. Marilyn's love extended to other animals as well; she had a soft spot for dogs and delighted in their companionship. Moreover, she found solace and joy in nurturing gardens and watching them bloom.

Marilyn's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly the enduring partnership she shared with her husband Mark Ritchie. Side by side for 35 years, they built businesses together and faced life's challenges with unwavering support and love. Their shared commitment served as an inspiration to all who knew them.

Family held immense importance to Marilyn. She was preceded in death by her wonderful and loving son, Mathew Ritchie, her parents Dean and Mary McLaughlin McCullough, and brother, Randy McCullough. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Mark Ritchie and brother Douglas (Susan) McCullough; her dear siblings-in-law Cathy McCullough, Dan (JoAnn) Ritchie, P. Scott (Kathy) Ritchie; as well as loving nieces and nephews, Zac, Morgan, Katherine, Meghan, Lauren, Kristen, Ryan, Sheena, Scott, and Keri. Marilyn's nurturing spirit, kindness, and love will forever live on in the hearts of her cherished family and friends.
