Marilyn R. McDaniel 78 of Lancaster, Ohio went to be with her Lord surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roger Mac McDaniel; 2 daughters, Kathy Jo (Frank) Bright of Carroll, Ohio and Cindy (William) White of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Kristina (Alex) McDonald of Lancaster, Ohio and Spc. Jason (Jenna Ferrell-Raborn) Bright of Ft. Hood, Texas; 4 great grandchildren, Rhiley, Samuel, Hannah, and Madison; brother, Howard Knapp of Logan, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Virginia Knapp and sister, Louise Grossman.
Funeral service will be held Friday, July 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Floyd Stolzenburg and Rev. Kelly Reagan officiating. Burial to follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E. Markison Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43207.
