Marilynn Francis Ford

Lancaster - Marilynn Francis Ford, 80, died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the Arbors of Carroll.

Marilynn was born April 22, 1943 in Crookston, MN to the late George and Dorothy (Gorder) Beck. She graduated from Bowling Green University, and went on to be an elementary school teacher in Stockton, CA. Marilynn loved spending time volunteering at the Ohio Glass Museum and the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio. Her devotion to community service showcased her selflessness and desire to make a positive impact beyond the classroom walls. She was also a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church. 

She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Ford; her brothers Stephen (Terri) Beck, Justin (Gail) Beck, and Douglas (Kathy) Beck; as well as other extended family members.

Marilynn is preceded in death by her husband Larry Ford; her parents; and grandson Trevor. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Heritage Room at the First Presbyterian Church, 222 N. Broad St., Lancaster, OH 43130.

Caring Cremation® has taken place. Inurnment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens at a later date.
