Marian Turner

Marian K. Turner, age 78, of Lancaster, formerly of Circleville, died February 24th, 2016 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born to the late Carlon C. and Vivian Slaughter Richter on February 25th, 1937 in Chillicothe. Marian retired as a teacher at Brooks-Yates and Director of the Pickaway Co. Workshop, always helping those less fortunate. She volunteered on several committees at the Lancaster Campgrounds. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Marian is survived by her sons, John (Judy) Turner of Lancaster, Rob Turner of Circleville; daughter, Amy (Nick) Smith of Lancaster; grandchildren, Lindsey (Tony) Miller, Whitney (Jon) Podzimek, John Austin Turner, Seth Turner, Sara Goodman, Tyler Goodman, Lilly Goodman, Victoria (Cody) Myers, Zoe Turner; great-grandchildren, Elaina, Owen, Ashland, Olivia, Zane, Layla Paige, and Xander Isaiah; brothers, Rick (Ramey) Richter and Gary Richter; several nieces and nephews; great niece, Elizabeth Ann DeHart; and aunt, Mary Snyder. A special thanks to her close friends, Bobbie and Hannalore.

Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Turner and her parents.
