Marian M. Keller, 100, of Baltimore, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 23, 2017. She was born on December 29, 1916, in Lucasville, Ohio.
Marian graduated from Ohio University and taught in Lucasville, Ross County, and Liberty Union Schools. But most important, she was a Christian, farmer’s wife, and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Dave; and infant daughter, Charlotte.
Marian is survived by her children, Cookie (Dave) Friesner, H.G. (Leah) Keller, Frankie (Tim) Phillips, Chuck (Karen) Keller, Margy (Mike) Hite, Barbie (Chuck) Reece, and daughter-in-law, Anne Keller; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was very active in her church, Fletcher Chapel, a district U.M.W. officer, a poll worker for the Republican Party, and a presiding judge for the Board of Elections.
Marian was the best Mom in the world, she was always there for her children and was always willing to help her family, grandchildren, and neighbors.
Funeral service for Marian will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore with Pastor Tim Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
