Marguerite Weidner

Marguerite M. Weidner 88 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on January 23, 1928 in Morgansville, WV to the late Benton and Thelma Gaskins.

She was an auctioneer and Miracle Hill Church founded by her 45 years ago.

Marguerite is survived by her husband, Burl; daughter, Betty Jean (Tony) McMillion of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Jim Smith, Margie Fought, Bobby Joe Lester, Joseph Lambert, Don Williams, Ron Williams, Dee Dee Moore and Candy Paskins; several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, sisters, Polly (Bill) Schmeltzer and June (Don) Green and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph K. Hessler, daughter, Darlene Lambert, son-in-law, Pete Lambert, brother, William Gaskins, sisters, Alfa Herron, Ruby Marriot and Evelyn Hall.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 12 noon in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Jeffrey Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Miracle Hill Church, 6103 Hopewell Church Rd SW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 and from 10-12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
