Margie Doss

Margie H. Doss age 91, of Lancaster, died July 29th, 2016 at LanFair Nursing and Rehabilitaion. She was born in Kobe, Japan on Feb. 25th, 1925 to the late Juchro and Kuno Mitumeya Kasahara. She will be greatly missed.

Margie is survived by her daughters, Linda (Dr. Larry) Murcko, Debbie (David Powell) Roberts, and Vicki Smith; five grandchildren, Eric, Kurt (Cassandra), and Katelyn Smith, Thomas Murcko, and Matthew Roberts; and brother Nabuo Kasahara.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband Donald W. Doss; infant son, Randy; brothers, Yukio and Tombo Kasahara.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Christopher Nickison , Vitas Hospice, Dr. Troy Edwards, Paul Schorr and the OSU Medical Team.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 10:30AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Oakthorpe Cemetery. Family and friends may call Monday from 3PM until 7PM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
