Margaret Young

Margaret E. (Peg) Young, age 95, of Lancaster Ohio, passed away with loved ones by her side on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. She was born February 26, 1922 to the late Walter and Catherine (Pyles) Young, and is survived by numerous cousins.

Margaret was a lifelong member of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Olivedale Senior Citizens Center. She retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed Bible study, sewing, and needlepoint. Margaret was a loving and generous daughter, niece, cousin and friend.

Per Margaret’s wishes, no calling hours will be held. There will be a burial service, officiated by Pastor Brad Seevers of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, at the Forest Rose Cemetery Shelter House in Lancaster. Memorials may be given to the Fairfield County Humane Society or to Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.
