Margaret Warner

Margaret C. Warner, age 87, of Sugar Grove, Ohio, passed away at the Pickering House on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

She was born on October 22, 1930 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Dan Lewis Deeds and Mary (Snoke) Deeds. She was a 1948 graduate of Berne Union High School. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Deeds Dairy prior to her marriage to Howard J. Warner on September 17, 1948. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, past president of the Faithful Gardeners Garden Club, a volunteer nature guide at Alley Park, and a talented artist known for her paintings.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard J. Warner, sons Wayne Warner, Jerry Warner and (infant) Richard Warner.

Margaret is survived by her grandsons Jesse Warner, Sugar Grove; Daniel Warner, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; daughter-in-law Toni Warner, Sugar Grove; close nephew Dave Heston, Sugar Grove; and extended family and many close friends.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Mark Raddatz officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, at the funeral home.
