Margaret Persinger

Margaret Persinger, age 78, of Lancaster, died November 23rd, 2015 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 3rd, 1937 in Fremont Co., TX to the late Simon and Jacoba Sanches Gurraro. She retired as a glass selector at Hortis Brothers and Premier Glass. She was dedicated to her whole family spending as much time with them as possible. She will be greatly missed. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Carol Lightly and Christal Persinger; sons, Carlos, James, Richard (Myrtle) Manuel, and Brent (Katherine) Persinger; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha and Alma She was preceded in death, by husband, Earl Persinger; son, Perry Persinger; daughter, Betty Gurraro; and grandchild, Carrie Ann Persinger, and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Monday at 1PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Rev. Kelly Copeland. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
