Margaret Lucas

Margaret D. Lucas, age 69 of Lancaster, died October 3rd, 2017, at the Pickering House. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 24th, 1948 to the late, Joseph and Frances Mena. She retired from the Massapequa School District where she worked for many years. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing Mah Jong, going to the Jersey Shore, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert Lucas; children, Erik (Moira Haupt) Lucas and Christine Lucas; grandchildren, Stella and Isaac Haupt-Lucas; sister, Rose Carr; sister-in-law, Barbara (Ken) McCoy; many nieces and nephews; family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Vera.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, at 2PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
