Margaret Fisher

Margaret I. “Maggie” Fisher, 76, of Lancaster, born May 1, 1937, went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2013.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, Martin and Mildred Young; and son, Bill.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Messer of Bradenton, FL, Charles (Teresa) Council of Sydney, OH, Pat Campbell of Bradenton, FL, and Marie (Bruce) Renko of Lancaster; grandchildren, Patti Messer of Bradenton, Charles “Macadoodle” Carberry of Butler, KY, William Council of Bradenton, Eric (Sara) Renko of Lancaster, Kevin (Lydia) Council of Anderson, IN, Amy (Bryan) Gullett of Bradenton, Kristin (Chris) Orr of Lancaster, Ashley Messer of Bradenton, and Lance Renko of Lancaster; 13 great grandchildren; and special friends, Boyd Warner, Jeannie Cunningham, Donald Simpson, Ashley Gaskill, Dean Prater, and the Dairy Queen staff where she was an employee for 35 years.

Funeral service for Maggie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
