Marcia Ann Souders

Marcia Ann Souders, 74, of Lancaster, passed away at Fairfield Medical Center on August 18, 2021. She was born in Lancaster to the late Francis and Virginia Purcell on June 28, 1947.

Marcia retired in 2012 from Fairfield County, and was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion Post 11. She was very spunky, and had a spice for life. Marcia loved spending time with her many family, and many many friends.

She is survived by her son, Travis (Jill) Souders; daughter, Staci (Steve) Knisley; grandchildren, Max Souders, Trent Souders, Jacob (Taylor) Hardwick, Seth Knisley, and Kayla Knisley; great grandchildren Jaxen McFarland and Logan Hardwick; brothers, Tim (June) Purcell and Tom (Anne) Purcell; and many friends-too many to mention.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Larry and Michael Purcell; and parents.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 1:30 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will take place in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit form 2-4 PM and again from 5-7 PM at the funeral home on Monday.
