Lowell Gothard

Lowell Gothard, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on November 19, 2021 at the Fairfield Medical Center. He was born to the late Chancey and Lorena Gothard on July 22, 1934 in Berne Township, OH.

Lowell retired as a truck driver after working for 39 years.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Gothard; son, George Gothard; daughters, Melissa Gothard, Mary Clark (Mark Woods), and Melanie Gothard; grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Jonathan (Niki), Jennifer, and Jacob; six great grandchildren; and many other family members.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Calvin (Betty) Gothard; and parents.

A funeral service officiated by Fr. James L. Colopy will take place at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit from 3-7 PM at the funeral home on Monday, November 29, 2021.
