Lois E. Farris

Lois E. Farris, 88, of Baltimore, passed away on March 8, 2025 at the Pickering House, peacefully and surrounded by family. She was born on November 9, 1936 to the late Martin John and Bernice Elizabeth Korvela.

Lois was a 1954 graduate of Bloom Carroll High School. She met the love of her life, Roy Farris, at the Lancaster Roller Rink and they then married on May 5, 1957. Lois was a home maker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time in her flowerbed and being with friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Farris and Carol Farris-Daughterty; grandchildren, Timmy (Jacquelynn) Farris, Kurtis (Nema) Von Koenigseck, Holli (Chris) Hawk, Glen Binion, Elizabeth Farris, Roy Martin Farris, and Katie Evans; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Carol Ann Korvela; sister-in-law, Norma Jean Farris; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and fur babies, Mister and Miss Kittie Kittie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Farris; grandson, Darrin Farris; best friend, Ginger Jackson; several nieces and nephews; and parents.

A funeral service officiated by pastor Clayton Warren will take place at 12 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S Main St., Baltimore, OH 43105. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
