Lloyd Kilbarger

Lloyd R. Kilbarger 85 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on January 27, 1932 to the late Clarence and Ima Kilbarger.

He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Army. He was a self- employed in the timber business.

Lloyd was a member of the American Legion Post 11 and was a devoted father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Doug) Crozier of Sugar Grove, Ohio and Nancy (Michael) Hedges of Lancaster, Ohio; son, Richard A. (Chris) Kilbarger of Lancaster, Ohio; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Mary jo Kilbarger, Margaret Jenkins and Beatrice Marie (Steve) Scott all of Lancaster, Ohio; brother, Ralph (Betsy) Kilbarger of Sugar Grove, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Main Street Terrace Nursing Home staff, Fairfield Medical Center staff and FairHoPe Hospice Staff for their love and care of Lloyd and his family.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife, Tula Kilbarger, parents, grandson, Grant A. Crozier, sister, Ruth Davis and three brothers, Lawrence Kilbarger, James Kilbarger and Earl Kilbarger.

Funeral service will be held Friday December 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Karen Martin Kepner officiating. Burial will follow in Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
