Linda Stiverson

Linda (Bigham) Stiverson, 67, an Amanda native and long time resident of Lancaster, died Friday March 6th, at The Pickering House surrounded by her family.

Linda is survived by her partner and best friend of over 40 years; her husband Paul Stiverson, her children; Galen (Laurie) Stiverson, Paula (Greg) Hammac, Barry (Heather) Stiverson, Kevin (Candice) Stiverson, Donnie (Connie) Smith, Keith (Becky) Stiverson, her brothers; Bob Bigham, Gary Bigham, Ed Bigham, and Dick Bigham, her sister; Peg (Bigham) Groff, her sister-in-law and friend; Mary (Ronnie) Bigham, 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Ronnie Bigham and Larry Bigham.

Linda was a completely selfless person who loved doing for others and always thought of everyone else before her self. A long time employee of Anchor Hocking, and later at Fred's Market, she worked tirelessly at whatever job she had to provide her the means to take care of what was most important to her; her family. She doted on her children and her grandchildren. Always the loudest one at sporting events, cheering them on in whatever they attempted. Her family was her pride and joy and she would brag about all of them to absolutely anyone who would listen. She was a wonderful cook, and nothing brought her greater pleasure than having those that she loved gathered around the table enjoying each other, while also enjoying the meal she had prepared. She was strong, smart, tough, loving, caring and generous, but most important of all, she was always there for the ones she loved whenever she was needed.

You are always in our hearts. We will miss you and we will love you forever.

Be not sad for those who love her, now that she is gone, but for those that never knew her while she was here.
