Linda Ann (Roberts) Milliser “Nanny” 71, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2018 at The OSU Wexner Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born on June 27th, 1947 in Drybranch West Virginia to the late Benjamin and Mae (Caudill) Roberts.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Brison; her brother, Bill Roberts; infant sister, Erma; step son, Michael L. Dean; son in-law, Len A Schmelzer; and ex-husband & father of her children, Charles Milliser.
She is survived by her best friend and life partner of 35 years; Lynn Dean, her children; Scott Milliser, Sheila Milliser (Robyn Coakley) and Shane Milliser.
grandchildren; Tiffany Woods, Brent (Erica) Kessler II, Brodric (Kylie) Milliser, Lindsey (Austin) Miller, Linden Schmelzer, Mackenzie Milliser, and Zavier Milliser;
great grand children, Brandon, Addison,Braxton, Aleshia, Ketsiyah, Silvia, Kemberlee, Averie, and Ansleigh; sisters, Gloria (Clifford) Moran and Sandria (Larry) Winegardner; brother in-law, Harold Brison; sister in-law, Patsy Roberts; and special niece, Jennifer Winegardner. She is also survived by step children, nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Anyone that knew Linda knew that she loved to thrift shop. She was so sweet and kindhearted. She would do anything she possibly could for anyone. Linda loved to cook. If you were hungry she would feed you, and if you were not hungry, she would still ask you a hundred times “Are you sure you’re not hungry?”
While the family is completely devastated by the loss, we are grateful that she is no longer suffering. A “celebration of life” will be announced at a later date. We ask that you make any donations to the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130 to help alleviate costs. Caring Cremation has taken place.
