Linda Kabealo

Linda J. Kabealo, 60, of Rockbridge, departed Tuesday, February 17,2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born March 2, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Albert Vega Flores and the late Ruth Seybold. She attended Linden McKinley H.S. and retired from the United States Postal Service. Linda devoted all of her time and energy into being the most loving and faithfully dedicated wife, sweet and protecting mother, caring sister, best friend, dog rescuer, passionate artist, nature nurturer, believer of peace, and meticulous caretaker of everything great and small.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 35 precious years, Mark P. Kabealo, daughter, Jennifer Durbin and son-in-law, Tony Durbin, daughter, Sarah Kabealo and future son-in-law, Nickolas Tiano, son, Jesse Bussard, son, Mark Charles Kabealo and his better half Emily Aristondo, special friends and chosen daughters, Jessica (Eddie) Minshall and Rae (Greg) Liebtag, special big brother Albert Flores, sister, Maria (Chuck) Strickland, and her most faithful and loyal companions, Shamrock, Vanilla, Cappuccino, & Sally, and her most prized furry granddogs, Fletcher, Mijo, Sammy, Gina, Fiona, Baxter, Enzo & Izzy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Flores.
Family and friends will be received to honor her in a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 and visitation to be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation® to follow.
