Linda Frankovich

May 13, 1951 — September 18, 2024

Linda Frankovich, 73, a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and vibrant friend all, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on September 18, 2024. Born on May 13, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, Linda's zest for life and incredible spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.

After graduating from West Tech in Cleveland in 1969, Linda embarked on a remarkable 42-year career with AT&T as a trouble shooter. Linda was known for her super fun, happy, and sometimes loud demeanor, making her a beloved presence in the lives of many.

A fierce supporter of her son, Jeff Kasza Jr., Linda nurtured his adventurous spirit from an early age. She allowed him the freedom to embrace his love for animals, even letting him own anything from alligators to iguanas. Her adventurous nature was evident as she took Jeff on memorable escapades, including his first helicopter ride at the young age of 21, which sparked a lifelong passion for him becoming a helicopter pilot She was his biggest fan at all his BMX races, making memories driving her caravan to haul all his friends in and being there to support him.

Linda’s adventurous spirit also led her to travel experiences like go-karting in Mexico and zipping through the treetops on ziplines—moments she cherished with her family deeply. Every Mother's Day, she created joyful traditions with her son, brewery hopping or winery hopping, celebrating their bond over good times and laughter.

Linda's role as a grandmother to her amazing grandson, Max Kasza, was undoubtedly one of her proudest accomplishments. She lovingly referred to him as her "little buddy" and ensured she never missed any of his sporting events, cheering him on with unwavering pride. Linda would do anything for her family, gladly sacrificing anything for them throughout her life. Her love for Max radiated every day as he was her beaming joy, and in her eyes, he could do no harm.

While happily embracing the roles of mother and grandmother, Linda also was a nurturing and caring second mom to all of her son's friends. With her generous heart and vibrant spirit, she brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda is survived by her loving son, Jeff (Mandy) Kasza Jr., her amazing grandson, Max Kasza, her close cousin, Carol Mix, her friend, travel companion, and father of her son, Jeff (Lynn Ann) Kasza, her roommate and co-conspiritor, Elizabeth Lovette, her beloved pup, Frankie, and her feline friend, Blaze.

Linda was predeceased by her brother, Richard Frankovich, her parents, John and Helen Frankovich, and close cousin-in-law, Charlie Mix.
