Lillian R. Hankison, age 97, of Baltimore died August 26th, 2017 at Crestview Nursing and Rehab. She was born to the late William and Mary Ann Paskins Robinson in Lancaster on May 17, 1920. She was a member of St. Peter’s Little Country Church, and the Eastern Star O.E.S. Parthenian Chapter 124. Also she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was an R.N. who enjoyed her job who also loved her family and friends.
Lillian is survived by her children, Pamela (Roger) Ricketts, Robert (Tammy) Hankison; grandchildren, Stacie (Mark) Graves, Chad (Trisha) Whittington, Dustin (Mandy) Hankison, and Douglas (Erin) Hankison; 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and very good friend, Mary Binsley.
Lillian was preceded in death y her parents, husband, John C. Hankison Sr. and son, John C. Hankison Jr.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10:30AM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Tim Ralston. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, Tuesday from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Baltimore. Memorials can be made to the Parkinson Foundation 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. Suite 265, Columbus, OH 43231.
