Lila Lee Ford, age 90, of Lancaster, died at 12:14 PM, Sunday, May 19th in the Grant Trauma Center.
She was born on April 10, 1923 in Port Clinton, OH to Floyd and Malinda Gleckler Easton. She owned and operated Ford's Nursery School in Port Clinton, OH for 13 years. She was involved in the operation of Judy's Sweet Shoppe and Cafeteria in Lancaster. She was the widow of Rev. Dallas Ford, who was a pastor in Lancaster for several years before his death in 1983.
She is survived by her daughter, Penny Ford of Lancaster, son-in-law, Dr. David Sheidler of Lancaster; sister, Joann Moon of Port Clinton, OH; nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was blessed with many friends across the country. Two very special friends were Mary Braun and Stephen Luzier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dallas Ford; daughter, Judy Ford Sheidler; her parents, Floyd and Malinda Easton; and brother, Milford Easton.
A service will take place on Friday at 10:30 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Reverend Brian Covert. Burial will follow the services at Forest Rose Cemetery.
