Lewis Laird

Lewis W. Laird 82 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at his residence. He was a US Navy, Korean Conflict veteran, lifelong farmer and retired from AEP with 35 years of service as a lineman. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 955 and enjoyed eating and visiting with the Marcy Diner Group.
Lewis is survived by his daughters, Elesa (Carl) Stout, Kimberley Laird and Angie (Bradley Childers) France all of Lancaster, Ohio; five grandchildren, Spencer Stout, Carlee Stout, Mitchell Stout, Samantha Stout, and Corey Zeller; brother, Roy (Mary Ann) Laird of Lancaster, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Edna Beard and Diane Weeks both of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Naomi A. Laird and parents, Francis and Florence Laird.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor William C. Lavely officiating. Burial will be held in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
