Leroy Smith

Leroy R. Smith, 74, of Lancaster, passed peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Lee was born July 9, 1944, in Williamsport, Ohio to the late Robert and Jewella Smith.

Lee retired after 47 years with Sonoco Products Company.

Lee is survived by his wife, Judi Smith; brothers, William (Joanne) Smith, John (Jean) Smith, and Ronnie (Debbie) Smith; children, Sherrie (Bruce) Duck, David Markwood, and Greg (Laura) Markwood; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Marjorie Allen; and many nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Smith; sister, Linda Anderson; and father-in-law, Harry Allen.

Caring Cremation through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. In honor of Lee’s request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
