Leon Orson Hutsler

Leon Orson Hutsler, 76, of Lancaster, passed away at his residence, and surrounded by his family on January 6, 2022. He was born to the late Samuel and Juanita Hutsler in Lancaster on April 22, 1945.

Leon was a machinist for Memac for 26 years, worked for 20 years at Essex, and volunteered for Foundation Dinners for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and adored his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi K. Hutsler; children, Holly (Andy) Rice, Mary (Todd) Burnside, Susan Hutsler, and Donald (Debbie) Hutsler; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren; brother, John Hutsler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald and Ronald Hutsler; and parents.

Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY. A private burial will take place in Greenfield Twp. Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
