Leonard Price

Leonard R. Price, 79, of Baltimore, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015.

Leonard was a 1954 graduate of Thurston High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a dedicated member of Thurston United Methodist Church where he also enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a 4-H advisor, an original member of the Thurston Fire Department, and he built many homes throughout Fairfield County. Leonard was a devoted family man.

Leonard is survived by his daughter, Patti (Brad) Slone; sons, Robert L. (Shelly) Price and J. David (Laura) Price; grandchildren, Casey Price, Zachary Price, Jordan Price, Cheyenne Price, Shyloh Price, Garrett Price, Brooke Price, Caitlin Slone, and Luke Slone; sisters, Wilcie (Homer) Mull and Janice (Donald) Love; brothers, Walter (Gloria) Price, John (Virginia) Price, and Steve (Janet) Price; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Price and his parents, Ross and Mary Price.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at the Thurston United Methodist Church, 2015 Main St, Thurston, Ohio 43157 with Reverend Dr. Rebeka Maples officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore.
