Leona Stokes

Leona M. Stokes, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014.

Leona was born in Lancaster on July 12, 1923. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #1380.

Leona is survived by her daughter, Aleta (David) Upp; son, Monte (Gloria) Stokes; sister-in-law, Margaret McClintock; and several nieces and nephews.

Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Stokes; daughter, Marjo Stokes; son, Jan Stokes; parents, Harry and Fairy (Thomas) McClintock; sister, Frances Sprague; and brother, Don McClintock.

Caring Cremation has taken place with the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Final resting place will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia with her husband Jeff.
