Lennie Arledge

Lennie Marie Arledge, age 74, of Lancaster, died September 22nd, 2015 at the Arbors at Carroll. She was born to the late James and Marlene Armtrout Brumfield in Circleville on April 9th, 1941. She retired from Homestead Nursing as a cook. Lennie was great with food and fed and cared for lots of kids on the West Side of Lancaster. Lennie was a wonderful mother to everyone especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children; Mary McCance, Ida (Butch) Martin, Ivan (Alice) Crane, Frank Crane, Wilma (Jeff Postin) McClellan, Howard (Rose) Crane, Ollie (Mike) Erwin; sister, Ester (Vernon) Larry; brothers, David (Tina) Brumfield and Dennis Capper; several grandchildren, including Michael, Ivan, and Annie Crane, whom she raised, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, Homer Arledge, sons, Lloyd Crane and Donald Crane, and daughter, Rebecca Jane.
A funeral service will take place on Friday at 10:30AM, officiated by Pastor Roy Maple at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
