Lela Laxton

Lela M. Laxton, age 87 of Lancaster, passed away at her residence on Friday March 4th, 2011. She was a wonderful mother and person. She was survived by her son, Larry (Patricia Ann Smith) Stultz of Lancaster; daughters, Gloria (Gerald) Wheeler of Columbus, and Lynne Laxton (Donald) McCrary of Houston; grandchildren, Roxanne McCrary of TX, Diamond Jewels Stultz of Bremen, Gerald Wheeler Jr.of Columbus, Don Dee Stone of CA, Lisa Sue (Mike) Wassell of TX; and numerous great grandchildren.
Lela was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ethel Wells; Husband, Fred Allen Laxton and one grandchild Larry Stultz Jr.
A service will take place on Monday at 1:30PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow the service at the Forest Rose Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
