Leatrice “Tiggie” Joy Creel Thorn Langfitt 82 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at The Pickering House.

She was born on January 7, 1933 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Spencer and Bertha Gilman Creel. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and enjoyed tennis and reading.

Leatrice I survived by her son, Jeff (Kathleen) Thorn of Bremen, Ohio; daughter, Frannie (Dave) Medders of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Amber Swartz and Jamason Thorn; nieces and nephew, Penny, Suzi, Grace, Missy and Mark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Quentin and George Creel and sister, Jewell Douglas.

A private service will be held at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATSER, OHIO 43130 with Mr. Dave Medders officiating. Caring Cremation® to follow.
