Laura Davis

Laura M. Davis, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. She was born September 27, 1929, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Harry and Elma (Reese) Dexter.

Laura was a member of the Ohio Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from the Franklin County Prosecutors Office. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her grandson in her retirement.

Laura is survived by her children, Brent W. Davis; Glen R. (Sarah Stinchcomb) Davis, and Lori (Chris) Kette; grandchildren, Carole (Leroy) Clark and Zachary Kette; and niece, Kathy Reese.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Davis.

Caring Cremation through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster. Burial will take place in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Laura to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
