Larry E. Poling

Larry E. Poling 78, passed away to be with our heavenly father on April 19, 2022, after fighting a lengthy illness.

Larry was a former member of the Lancaster Eagles 2120 and the Corvettes of Lancaster. He loved to go to many cruise-ins and super Chevy car shows. He previously wrote articles for Lets go Cruising magazine.

He enjoyed showing his 75-pro street Camaro and 94 Chevy Dually Truck AKA Aircraft carrier. Larry loved being with his family and spending many years camping together.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Jane of 27 years. Daughters Lori (Brad) Maddux, Lisa (Mike) Morgan and step son Kenny Reed. 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Mildred Poling. Daughter Lesli Poling. Sister June Snider and his Best fur buddies Sylvester & Brittany.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the Frank E. Smith Chapel, at 11:00 AM presided by Chaplain Mark Linn. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Lancaster following the service.
