Larry Howell

Larry L. Howell, age 70 of Baltimore, passed away Sunday April 20th, 2014 at OSU Medical Center. He was born on April 14, 1944, to Francis “Bud” and Lillian Young Howell in Newark, OH. He worked for the Baltimore Paper Mill for 29 years as a supervisor. He also worked as a custodian at the Pickerington School for 10 years. He enjoyed being with his family, painting, sports, especially his Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. You could always find Larry with the Boys at Weidner’s Corner everyday.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sherry Howell of Baltimore; sons, Brian (Marilyn) Howell of Baltimore, and Duane (Cindy) Howell of Pleasantville; grandchildren, Kayla, Jessica, Josie, Gracie, Sam, and Gabby Howell; sister, Judy (Hank) Kauffman of Baltimore; sister-in-law, Carla Reedy of Dayton; mother and father-in-law, Carl “Cub” and Ruth Ann Bair of Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny L. Howell.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, at 1PM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Rev. Jill Dunlap. A committal service will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home, 2 hours prior to the service, on Thursday from 11 AM until 1PM.
