Larissa Renee Clark, age 20, of Lancaster, Ohio walked into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ, on January 20, 2017. Larissa was the beloved daughter of Jettie L. Clark and was born on January 13, 1997.
Larissa was preceded in death by her father, Earl W. Clark and her grandfather, William Gobel.
In addition to her mother, Larissa is survived by her sister, Kevonna Clark; five brothers, Raymond (Lori) Clark, John (Shanna) Gordon, Mathew (Lori) Gordon, Daniel Clark, and Trevon Harvin; grandmother, Juanita Gobel; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family at Good Shepherd Church.
Formerly a student of Westerville Central High School, Larissa transferred to Forest Rose when she and her family moved to Lancaster in the spring of 2016.
Larissa loved movies (especially The Nut Job), music by Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber; and a variety of Christian music. She enjoyed worship services at church and loved attending camp with Joni and Friends. Larissa was spirited and lively. Even though she was non-verbal, Larissa was expressive and surely conveyed her likes and dislikes. Those of us left behind are missing her joyful laugh and are wondering if she's telling our stories with her fully healed vocals.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 700 Spring Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Good Shepherd Church.
