Kim R. McDonald

Kim R. “Mac” McDonald 69 of Millersport, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Millersport High School Class of 1974.

He attended Jersey Baptist Church, enjoyed boating on Buckeye Lake, loved Ohio State University football, and was a drummer in various bands. Kim was a grill master and loved to cook.

Kim is survived by his soulmate, Mary J. Hampson; daughter, Tyra McDonald of Millersport; mother, Jean McDonald of Millersport; sisters, Vickie McDonald Millersport, Rhonda Rawlins of North Carolina and Tiffany Cordle of Pickerington; nieces and nephews, Kelli Jean, Jessica, Dani, and Kerry and other great nieces and nephews and his canine companion, Bentley.

He was preceded by his daughter, Kodi McDonald, father James R. “Jim” McDonald and brother-in-law Scott Cordle.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Grove united Brethren Church in Christ with Pastors Mike Willis and Steve Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are being handled by the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore, Ohio.
