Kevin Hicks

Kevin Douglas Hicks, 59, of Lancaster passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2018. He was born November 18, 1958, in Lancaster.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, John Hicks and Thelma Swackhammer; and his brother, Rodger Hicks.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beth (Peters) Hicks; his children, Heidi, Brian (Shannon), and Brittany Hicks; brother, Jeff (Sherry) Hicks; sister-in-law, Terri Hicks; and several nieces and nephews.

Kevin enjoyed spending time playing cards with his family and drag racing hot rods. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Caring Cremation will follow the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kevin to the Pleasant Township Fire Department, 2925 Lancaster-Thornville Rd NE, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
