Keith Edward Couch

Keith Edward Couch, 81 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on October 18, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James Edward and Mary Daubenmire Couch.

He was a graduate of Berne Union High School Class of 1959 and later got married in July 1961. He was a glassworker, mostly working in the furnace room for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. with 43 years of service.

Keith was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Baltimore, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aries #2120, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #955, Sons of Amvets, Sons of American Legion, and a proud member of the Berne Union Hall of Fame.  He also enjoyed spending time in Sebring, Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 60 1/2 years, Margaret; daughter, Suzanne (Rick) Miller of Etna, Ohio; sons, Scott Keith (Beverly) Couch of Mason, Ohio and Michael S. (Jeannette Stevens) Couch of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Matthew Pettet, Jennifer (Shane) Smith, Garrett Couch, Cash (Sara) Couch, and Olivia (Shane) Smith; great granddaughters, Georgia Marie Couch and Reese McKenzie Couch; brother, Stephen (Laura) Couch of Sugar Grove, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael L. Couch, best friend Robert “Bud” Olive and his fur baby, Lucky.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 am in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105.  Caring Cremation® to follow.  Friends may visit Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
