Kathy Doss

Kathy Doss, 71, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed on December 13, 2021. Kathy was born on May 22, 1950.

She was preceded in death by parents Don and Bondell Probasco, brother-in-law Ken Anderson and nephew Mark Blackwood. She is survived by children Ami (Stu) Brengman, Casey (Brittany) Doss and Jamie Jackson (Kim Golden). Honorary daughter Patty Tedrick. Brother Thomas Probasco and sisters Michelle Probasco and Kris Herder. Grandchildren include Cleo, Dalas and Emmi Brengman, Alec, Dylan and Dru Doss, Thor Golden, Jordan Icenhour and Job Buehler.

She was a lover of the arts including the Nelsonville Music Festival, flowers, diy projects and tie-dying. Social media was an outlet for her to stay connected to those she loved. Kathy was a long time member of A Special Wish Foundation and retired from Fairfield County Center for Disabilities. She shared her life with partner Ron Kurtz. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Stuart’s Opera House at 52 Public Square Nelsonville, OH 45764 in her memory.

Calling hours will be held Saturday 12/18/21 from 1:00-3:00 at FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME with a memorial service to follow.  A celebration of life following that will be held at Lancaster Moose Lodge 955 located at 1201 Sugar Grove Rd SE, Lancaster, OH 43130.
