Karen Hines

Karen E. Hines, age 66 of Lancaster, died October 2nd, 2013 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She graduated in 1965 from Lancaster High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church; an avid card player who enjoyed getting together with her friends. She loved crocheting, gardening, and being with her family.
She is survived by her son, Jason Hines of Lancaster; sisters, Pat Brunell of VA, and Sandra Franke of Lancaster; brother, Rolfe Elam of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Smokey” Hines; and parents, Roy and Lena Poole Elam.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Robert McDowell. Caring Cremation ® has taken place through the FRANK E.
