Judy Flowers

Judy N. Flowers, age 76 of Rockbridge, died on August 21st, 2017 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She was born in Hocking County on January 9th, 1941 to the late Benjamin and Mellie Sater Dyer. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God. She worked at Rockmill Nursing home for 8 years and raised four wonderful children. Judy was an amazing cook, who also was a very skilled artist and quilter. She will be greatly missed and the fond memories of her will always be cherished.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Paul E. Flowers; children, Paula (Mike), Brett, Danielle (Steve) and Jon Paul (Joan); grandchildren, Ashley Van Bibber, Alexandra and Samantha Flowers; siblings, Larry Dyer, Jenene Bope, and Alice Booth; several nieces and nephews; and short legged friend, “Lucky Dog.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ardreth Lingo, Norma Eads, Lavetta Miller, Donna Johnson; infant sister, Fern Dyer; and brother, Ronald Dyer.

Per Judy’s wishes arrangements have been made through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME and Caring Cremation® has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Mt.
