Juanita Thomas

Juanita J. Thomas, 92, of Lancaster, passed away on November 26, 2021 at the Pickering House. She was born to the late Henry and Annie Newman in Buchtel, OH on February 27, 1929.

Juanita enjoyed going for walks, weight lifting, and her Sixth Avenue Church family.

She is survived by her children, David (Linda) Thomas, and Jon (Darla) Thomas; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Thomas; grandson, Corey Kline; siblings, Margaret Miller, Mary Wright, Arthur Newman, Don Newman, and John Newman; and parents.

A funeral service will take place at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit on Monday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
