Juanita Lindsey

Juanita J. Lindsey, age 82, of Lancaster, died peacefully, Monday, January 28th, 2013 at the Pickering House. She was born on April 2, 1930 to Harry and Luella George. She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church for 50 years, where she was with the free lunch ministry for over 10 years; she was also a member of the Eastern Star. She retired as a Sears Catalogue Manager. She was a loving person who will be greatly missed by all who have been touched by her life.
She is survived by her sons; Steve (Julie) Lindsey of Lancaster; and David Lindsey of Columbus; grandchildren, Patrick Lindsey of Lancaster, Molly (Barry) Downs of Logan, Tony (Melissa) Lindsey of Gray, ME, and Angie Gallion of Columbus; great grandchildren; Lindsey Downs, Lauren Downs, and Evelyn Lindsey; brother, Virgil (Carolyn) George of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin Lindsey; parents; sisters Helen Poling, Marlene Bollin, Gloria George; brothers, Sidney George and Raynor George.
A service will take place at 10:30AM Friday, at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor Robert McDowell. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery.
