Joy Blanchard

Joy A. Blanchard, age 62, of Lancaster, died February 17th, 2015 at Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation. Joy was born on July 14th, 1952 in Detroit, MI to her late parents, Robert and Teresa Zillitch Robinson. She worked as a medical assistant at Grant Hospital and also Nationwide Insurance. She attended both Victory Hill Church and Faith Memorial Church. She was an amazing cook who perfected baking and was a lover of music. She will be greatly missed.
Joy is survived by her son, Geoff (Cassandra Litton) Blanchard of Lancaster; daughter, Danielle Lynn Blanchard of Columbus; brother, John (Paige) Robinson of FL; sister-in-law, Jeanette Robinson; niece, Karen (Kyle) Robinson; and nephew, Keith (Stephanie) Robinson, all of Ontario, Canada.
Caring Cremation® has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Donations can be made in Joy’s name to the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N COLUMBUS ST. LANCASTER, OH 43130.
