Joshua “Josh” A. Barnes, 24 of Canal Winchester, Ohio died Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
He was a construction worker and a graduate of Groveport Madison High School. He loved the Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys football teams.
Josh is survived by his parents, Greg and Brenda Barnes of Canal Winchester, Ohio; brother, Jason Barnes of Canal Winchester, Ohio; sister, Jennifer Barnes of New Albany, Ohio; grandfather, Ron Barnes of Lancaster, Ohio; niece, Grace Barnes; aunts and uncles, Jeff, Debbie (Jeff), Donald (Jody) and Tonya (David); great aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Daisy Steen and Ellen Barnes.
Funeral service will be held Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Robert Ray officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
