Joseph Woods

Joseph Michael Woods, age 64, passed away on April 21st, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born to the late Joseph and Ilene (Ward) Woods in Montgomery, WV on August 6th, 1953. An avid yard sale enthusiast, he enjoyed collecting guns and hosting his own auctions. He worked as a truck driver for several shipping companies during his career, retiring in the end from Fed Ex.

He is survived by his children; sons, Joe (Melinda) Woods, Jr., and Jason Woods; daughter, Mindy Woods; 7 grandchildren; brother, Mark (Mary) Woods; sisters, Chris (Don) Martin, and Patricia (Richard) Webb; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, with burial to follow at Floral Hill Memory Gardens. Friends and family may visit from 5PM until 8PM Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home, 405 N. Columbus Street, Lancaster, OH 43130 to assist with funeral expenses.
