Joseph R. Swindells, 41, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Toni Swindells; sons, Eathan Swindells and Samuel Swindells; mother, Marilyn (Jack) Hanes; siblings, Jeremy (Amy) Swindells, Julia (Michael) Schriner, Denise Cloutier, Tom Swindells, Jack Hanes III, Jasmine Hanes, Jennifer Hanes, and Crystal Hanes; grandmothers, Thelma Naylor and Myrtle Hanes; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Thomas “Butch” Swindells; grandparents, Pride Davis, Thomas Gordon Swindells, Frederick L. Naylor, and Jack R. Hanes, Sr.; aunt, Cynthia Naylor; and uncles, Joel D. Swindells, Roland Swindells, and Joseph P. Swindells.
Visitation will be held on Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Caring Cremation will follow and burial will be at a later date with his father in Forest Rose Cemetery.
Donations can be made in memory of Joseph to The Recovery Center, 201 S. Columbus St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
