Joseph Gary Davis 86, passed away on May 18, 2024.

He was born April 3, 1938 in Noble County, Ohio. Gary was the husband of Helen Webber Davis. Gary and Helen were blessed with 61 wonderful years of marriage. Gary loved his wife, basketball, and baseball in that order. He was an outstanding basketball player at Dexter City High School, winning the Noble County League Tournament his freshman year. Known for his great work ethic and caring personality, Gary worked for Burns Drilling Company for over 40 years before retiring. He worked another 10 years as an assistant at Worthman Drilling.

Remaining to remember Gary is his wife, Helen, a nephew David Davis (Karen) of Lancaster and two nieces, Becky Barlow of Dexter City, and Cindy Jett (Dean) of Devola along with additional extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Josephine Davis, a sister, Mabel Delong, and two brothers, Donald and Walter.

Caring Cremation® will be carried out by Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, with burial taking place in Senecaville, OH. No funeral service is planned.
